Project Overview

Esin Akan is a London-based brand specialising in distinctive and timeless leather handbags sustainably crafted for confident women to stand out while enjoying every occasion. Founded in 2012 by Esin Akan, the versatile handbags are designed to be worn in any setting to help busy, multi-tasking women enjoy every moment of their life.

My Contributions

I collaborated closely with Esin, the founder of Esin Akan, to design and create digital ads, web visual improvements and other creative materials. The design concept was to keep it neutral and modern.
Esin Akan's bags bags feature multi-wear options, allowing them to be transformed and worn in different ways. The keyword here is to use "versatile" and display and show the different styles and ways to use the multifunctional bag. It also focuses on quality that ensures durability and adds a luxurious touch to the products.
/ mini refresh on a budget

Problem: Esin Akan needed a refresh of visuals on their landing page without breaking the budget. The old landing page featured too many images of the model with the product, resulting in a cluttered appearance. There was also uneven and or inadequate white spacing for each section of the products which needed to be fixed.

Solution: I simplified the landing page by replacing the hero visual with a model showcasing the product and photoshopping the background to a tint gradient color to give it a neutral and modern look and feel. I then condensed the hero copy at the bottom and removed the title to keep the content tighter.Additionally, I photoshopped their large block of bags sections onto plain coloured backgrounds, using lighter tones that match each bag's color. I also increased the white space around each section to provide more breathing room for the content.
